HenriQ came to existence as a KCBS competition team. The team competed for a few years in Michigan and Indiana. Family and friends often commented on how great HenriQ BBQ food was. They encouraged me to pursue expanding the team, to transition into selling my style of BBQ to the public. So, by popular demand HenriQ is now a for Hire Pit Master Company.

Pit Master Dan is an expert cook with many years of experience in both BBQ competitions and backyard smoking and grilling. He has a passion for smoked foods that are well prepared, with and emphasis on quality.

Meet my lovely wife Audrey (Audie) Henriquez, mother to our three boys, Danny, Ben and Bryan. Audie has been a tremendous force behind HenriQ, with her unwavering love and support of my passion. She is an extremely talented cook. She can open a pantry and in an instant create the most delectable recipes. One of my favorites is now part of HenriQ's menu: "Grandma Audie's Green Beans."

My wife and I are incredibly blessed by our boys. All three of them are excellent cooks in their own right. Danny Henriquez is our first born. In addition to excellent skills and talents in BBQ, he excels in producing the most delectable Homemade Chinese Food.
